The Nicola School of Dance provides lessons in Ballet, tap, modern and jazz dance. Children can begin lessons at the school from the age of 3 and many continue to attend the school into their late teens and early twenties. Lessons are taught by Mrs Nicola Miles who is a qualified RAD and ISTD dance teacher and her sister Catrin who has recently graduated from Rambert School of Ballet and Contemporary Dance with a degree in Ballet and Contemporary Dance.

At the school children are taught the RAD ballet syllabus and the ISTD tap, modern and jazz syllabi. They are entered for grade examinations from Primary to Grade 8 and all vocational exams from Intermediate Foundation to Advanced 2. Pupils are also given the opportunity to perform in the school's annual dance show at a local theatre. Pupils are also given the opportunity to take part in dance competitions and festivals.

Lessons take place at Morganstown Village Hall, Heol Syr Lewis, Morganstown, Cardiff and the Methodist Church Hall, Windsor Road, Radyr, Cardiff.
